Lisa Nicolle- Managing Director

info@thesoundworks.co.uk

Graduating from the University of Warwick with a degree in Theatre Studies and Dramatic Arts, Lisa worked in media production for 12 years. With a passion for the music side of production and seeing a gap in the market for a more client focussed music specialist, she decided to create her own unique music consultancy focussed on high quality, fast turnaround output.

Ross Gidney- Creative Director

ross@thesoundworks.co.uk

Ross was a touring musician for over 10 years, playing drums for bands signed to labels including EMI, PIAS, and Electric Stew. He worked at several music consultancies and record labels before becoming a co-founder of The Sound Works. He lives and breathes music and is responsible for sourcing tracks on some high profile campaigns including Citroen, Sony, Channel 4, Birds Eye and Max Factor.

Renny Wightman- Music Supervisor (Commercials, TV and Games)

renny@thesoundworks.co.uk

Being heavily involved in the Manchester dance music scene, Renny managed promotion both in the UK and globally with Funhouse Promotions, bringing some of the best dance music to The Hacienda, Amnesia, House and Energy.
He's sourced music for recent BT, Camelot and P&G campaigns.

James Lucas - Studio/Production Assistant

James joins us on a graduate scheme form Newcastle University and has a keen passion for music and the arts in general. He has dj'd his way through Uni and is now keen to try and place some of his obsure musical favourites into main stream advertising campaigns. He helps out with everything we do here at TSW, so he is gaining quite an extensive education into all aspects of a music consultancy.
